My fiance and I are planning on getting married in or around Japantown. We’d love to have Japanese elements in the wedding since he is Japanese. We aren’t from the area and don’t know where to go for such things.

I’m getting married in Ohio in March (which is the tail end of our winter). We want real flowers, and our colors are blue and white. Are there any pretty flowers in season at that time that we could use?

I remember coming across an article in some wedding magazine where brides made centerpieces & other wedding flowers out of “filler flowers”. Things like carnations, baby’s breathe, and other flowers that could be bought in grocery stores were used. Do you have tips on doing this, or know of an article talking about this?? Or do you know of websites that could help? Thanks so much in advance! I am desperately trying to save money on my wedding flowers.

I want to know what flowers are LOCAL (to Peterborough, Ontario CANADA), plentiful and in season in September?
I am getting married September 6, 2008, and I’d love to have hydrangeas for our wedding flowers, but if that isnt in season, I don’t want to ship in flowers— I want to use in season and local if at all possible… thanks!
